It's so easy to find everything I need for making holiday recipes at Walmart, and even easier, knowing that Post brand cereals has something for everyone, and not just for breakfast!
I remember doing our grocery shopping with my mom when I was little, and any time I saw cereal boxes with any kind of special packaging, I would literally freak out. Especially when it had something to do with the new movies coming out, or some kind of contest to enter! Who doesn't love cereal boxes with sweepstakes?
Now as an adult, I definitely still get just as excited when I see contests on cereal boxes, especially when it's for a movie that I am dying to see.. Not much has changed I guess.
When I saw these boxes of Post Golden Crisp Cereal I knew I just had to have a box (or four). After having two bowls of the cereal, I wanted to do something more... Something I could take with me all day long. So I whipped up these delicious marshmallow treats!

Ingredients:
2.5 cups Golden Crisp cereal
1 cup mini marshmallows
3 tbsp unsalted butter
Chocolate/ peanut butter morsels (optional)
Directions:
Measure out 1 cup mini marshmallows and put in a microwave safe bowl
Divide butter in to 1tbsp sections and put over marshmallows
Heat for 1 minute, stirring after every 30 seconds
Pour Golden Crisp cereal over melted marshmallows and mix until cereal is coated
Lay out a thin layer of treats on wax paper and sprinkle with chocolate and/or peanut butter morsels
Let harden for an hour
Use cookie cutter to cut out shapes & serve
I love being able to share these delicious treats with my friends and family, especially at family outings or just for fun.
While this dessert is far from a breakfast item, it's so easy to have a winning breakfast when you have Post cereals for breakfast. What better way to start your day than with a delicious bowl of Post cereal? Especially when you can use the box to enter the SING National Sweepstakes for a chance to win $100,000 OR free movie tickets! All you have to do is enter the codes printed inside of the box of select Post cereals.

Look for the specially marked boxes of Post cereal at Walmart and don't forget to enter the sweepstakes! With Post cereals, it's easy to have a delicious breakfast, or snack any time of the day! Head over to the #CerealAnytime Pinterest to see tons of other recipes!
