25 Signs You're a Crazy Dog Parent

When your dog is sleeping, you think it's the most precious thing you've ever seen!
You don't bat an eye when your dogs medicine is $30, but you get pissed when your own is any more than $5.
The number of nicknames you have for your dog exceeds the number of friends you have.
You have a hard time going to any store and not getting your dog something.
Hugs and kisses are essential before leaving the house, even if you're just going to your car.
You always think you know exactly what your dog is thinking.
Getting new toys for your dog gives you more excitement than getting yourself something new.
You have a special voice you only talk to them in
When you are away from them, you are always wondering what they are doing!
You know all their favorite treats by name, brand, color of bag and scent... And that's totally normal to you!
When someone says they don't really like dogs, you instantly reconsider your friendship with them.
You are almost always covered in dog hair, and it really doesn't bother you much.
Their birthday is a big deal, and anyone who things different is not a big deal.
You are more than okay with having a full length conversation with them, and you know they understand everything you're saying.
Cuddling with your dog is one of the best feelings in the world.
You're often hesitant to go out because you don't want your pup to get lonely!
When people ask how many people are in your family, they are always included in that number!
Your dog has a first, middle and last name... Doesn't every one's?
Occasional, you'll accidentally say "Good boy/girl!" to a human.
Not having enough room for yourself on your bed is a common occurrence!
You think it's rude to not include your dog in your Christmas Card.
The number of vitamins your dog takes daily is far greater than the number you take daily.
You have a Pinterest page dedicated to your pooch.
Your parents officially call them their "grandchildren" because, well, they are!
No matter what, your dog will always be your best friend.

  1. LOL this is a great list. I'm not a dog owner (yet), but I can see myself fall into a lot of this. The dog medicine one is beyond true, I hate paying more than $5, but if my pets costs more...no worries!
