10 in 10 {Velvet Taco}

Number nine already? I can't believe I've been rambling on for NINE whole weeks about the new restaurants I've been venturing out to. Between working, attempting to workout regularly, and migraines, I haven't done much else with the blog, or my life for that matter... But thats about to change! As for now, let's talk about how freaking awesome this week's 10 in 10  is!
This weekend I actually managed to get out of the house. I met my wonderful friend Kaitlyn for drinks at Henry's Majestic, did a little bar hopping, and ended our night at Velvet Taco!
It's a little more fast food than casual dining, but it works. The line moved quickly even though it was super packed!

I made the executive decision that we needed to share the Tots... Which come loaded with two different cheeses, an avocado cream sauce, bacon, and an egg! I hate eggs, really I do. But the egg on top of these tots was better than icing on top of cake! So much goodness, all rolled in to one. Clearly not so health conscious, but they were damn good!
I went with just one taco, The Rotisserie Chicken, mainly so I could have plenty of room to munch on the tots. It was good, not great, but definitely good! I have a weak spot for corn salsa on tacos, which may be 1/2 of the reason I ordered this one.
Kaitlyn ordered a Rotiseree Chicken and a Flank Steak Taco. HOLY COW. The Flank Steak taco may have been the best one. I love onions, and this little taco was smothered with them. It was delicious!
We got everything we ordered for just under $20, can't beat that! After a night out, with a few drinks involved, this almost beats out Whataburger... HAHA, kidding! But it was awesome, and it's location could not have been better! Unfortunately, there is only one in Dallas, and one in Fort Worth, which stinks, but I'll make the drive for these delicious tacos!
I can't believe I only have one 10 in 10 left! I've had so much fun visiting tons of new restaurants and meeting all kinda of new people along the way! Come back next week for the last installment of my 10 in 10 journey!
In the meantime, I have some big things coming to the blog very soon!
Have a great Thursday!
