Sometimes, I feel as though time passes so slowly, but looking back, I feel like its going way, WAY too fast. That being said, this is my last 10 in 10 stop. 10 whole weeks have passed since we began this journey, and we have tried some awesome restaurants!
Our last stop on this incredibly fun journey was Bolsa, a cute little restaurant, nestled on the edge of the Bishop Arts District. Bishop Arts is beaming with delicious dining, fun shops are friendly people.
We managed to get our butts out of bed had an early brunch a few Sundays ago at Bolsa. They don't take reservations, so we were a little skeptical, but we were seated right away.
Due to the lovely Texas liquor laws on Sunday's, we couldn't order alcohol without having food on the table, so our gracious serve brought us some of their homemade chicharones! I've been munching on these for my entire life, but I haven't feasted on any that taste this delicious.... even Thomas loved them! Their homemade hot sauce did not disappoint either.
To kick things off, both T and I opted for screwdrivers, which is soooo out of the norm for us, but we went with it, and they were divine.
Steak and eggs... Need I say more? The steak was cooked to perfection and the eggs were perfectly runny. Paired with the potato strings, I'm not sure of any other combo being more perfect!
My sweet tooth was in full effect, which lead me to their French Toast Cakes. Sorry Nick & Sam's, there's a new favorite french toast in town. This was UH-MAY-ZINGGGG! I chose not to pour the syrup till I was over half way done, and I totally regret it, their syrup is the BEST!
Not pictured is their potato hash, mixed with bell peppers and onions, this side dish will blow even the toughest critics out of the water!
Overall, our meal at Bolsa definitely rivals our first 10 in 10 stop at Kitchen LTO for best brunch. Regardless, this brunch was to die for, and we will DEFINITELY be back!
While our 10 in 10 may be over, we plan to keep up trying new restaurants throughout the upcoming months! I hope you have all enjoyed following along on this journey!

Looks tasty! Also, I never knew you couldn't have alcohol w/o having food too! It's always interesting to discover laws from other countries (sad but true..)

This entire meal looks AMAZING! I agree with you about time going way too fast. I think that all the time. I think you've encouraged me to do my own 10 in 10!

This is an awesome series. Restaurants are a great way to explore cities! Brunch is my favorite meal, so french toast is my #1 weakness. Those cakes look divine!

Okay now I am curious...what are the Texas liquor laws that don't allow you to have alcohol on the table without food? Yay for brunch, yours looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteIts literally just a law... that says you can't order any alcohol, on Sunday's, before 12, without having food on the table. Its crazy. I BELIEVE it's only on Sunday's. Its just silly really!
DeleteThat looks delicious! And now I want bruch :D
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteI need to get my boyfriend on board with trying 10 different restaurants in our city.
